Batman and Spawn actually fought in the comics before and they tried to talk things out but they both eventually couldnt n fought and it wouldve been a beyond Neg for Spawn if it wasnt for a BS light spot where Spawn steps into it and loses his powers. He fights a critical condition Batman and starts to lose but they eventually come to a draw. Spawn has to leave, steps out of the light spot and gets his powers back n leaves. (Btw, he was the one who put Batman in critical condition cuz Batman fought Spawn with and without his powers)

Also, spawn can only be defeated by weapons forged in heaven or hell, and spawn has fought batman in the comics and decimated him, with batman saying that even superman might not be able to beat spawn.
