That makes no sense. I know what you mean, but if zoning is a respectable strategy, it’s respectable no matter who does it. If there’s nothing inherently wrong with zoning, why would you not respect players who can only zone? Would you not respect a non-zoner who is good up close but can’t zone? Would you not respect a good keeper who is not a good striker?

@@kencur9690 THANK YOU. Imo Forever King zoning in a game where zoning is the best option, isn't forever kings fault lol. NRS could've nerfed the zoners or just not made them so good. On top of that, op was like "If they can Zone and play up close" when zoning is literally about staying a good distance away from your opponent.

I dont know if you've been told yet or figured it out yet but Hayateis not trying for damage with the batarang, it leaves the opponent blocking on wake up so he can keep pressure without having to worry about an opponents wake up. If his opponent tries to wake up special, hes gonna get hit by the batarang leading to full combo. he opts for more pressure/mixup situations then he does for damage.

Hayatei isn’t going for damage. The Birdarang forces the opponent to block on wakeup so he can keep the pressure on. If he doesn’t do that, Forever King or anyone for that matter can wake up and do a Batarang that can lead to a full combo. He’s going for mixups, not damage.

Not for damage tho lol. It's for Oki or sum like that. It's to keep up the pressure after the opponent is in knockdown. If Hayetai ends in assassin strike, then he'd get more damage but would lose out on pressure and would restand the opponent unless he spent the meter.
