Bruce Wayne is a billionaire, he could be using all that money to live a selfish and lavish life but he uses it as an advantage to help him as a super hero. He is only a mortal as Superman is a Demi God and yet Batman has beat Superman many times, Superman can fly, has xray vision, frost breath, super strength and speed, eye beams etc but yet he's still lost battles to human. I prefer Batman because Superman is something we can't be but Batman is an inspiration. The Gotham media always makes him out to be the bad guy, the cops are always on his back, he takes the blame for everything, a lot of his good deeds go unnoticed so people can be safe, he could be enjoying those billions and not worrying about the world but he is what I would like to call a true Superhero. A lot of people say Batman is just a guy in a suit with money, how is that Super? Well yes he is just a human in a suit who had a counter plan for the whole Justice League in case they turned Rogue which proved to work when a villain stole the data and used it against them. Superman was the only Superhero in the Justice League who still trusted Batman with that power and Kryptonite as he knew Batman was legit. And Batman has stolen nearly all Superman's girlfriends lol They chose a human over a flying, super strong guy yardy yah, they chose Batman. So yeah Batman.

I've never really been into Batman that much, even with all his cool gadgets and all. Yeah, I think that's why I even like Spider-Man a little bit more than Batman cause of his cool powers. In most interpretations Batman is just a too serious character from my liking. He's considered a superhero cause of all the impossible things he can do that no normal human can. Same with Green Arrow and other archers. In real life there couldn't be a Batman just as there couldn't be a Superman. If a guy in real life tried to be Batman he would fail miserably.

I really hate how all of these batman fan boys adamantly believe that batman is the greatest superhero ever created. Batman's popularity has experienced a huge surge in the past 10-15 years mostly because of Nolan's films, the Arkham games and the animated series/films. These outlets have allowed creators to reinvent batman from his campier ways into a darker, more disturbed man. Were it not for Heath Ledgers chilling performance and his subsequent death, the dark knight would have never made a billion dollars. Don't believe me? Where were all the fan boys when batman begins was released? The first film depicted a more accurate batman but only grossed a third of its sequel. (Even Superman Returns made more). My point is that superman is the grandfather of all superheroes, a universal icon that has stood the test of time. Don't get me wrong, I still believe that batman is the second best superhero, better than anything Marvel has to offer. But if you can look past the bandwagon batman subculture in today's youth and ask "what's the best DC has to offer", it is without a doubt Superman. The greatest Superhero ever conceived
