This was probably the longest fight sequence in any episode of Batman. Interestingly enough, it was also by far the longest sequence (nearly a minute) in which Batman was helpless as Mad Hatter and his henchmen took turns choking him, grabbing at his cowl, and stomping on him as he lay with his head dangling over the edge of the water tank. Robin eventually rescued him, but he really looked pathetically weak and helpless for a long time in this fight.

I think the fight scene during the climax of the first Mad Hatter episode was longer. And as for the helplessness, how would YOU have fared with two thugs trying to push you over the edge? Despite his extraordinary fighting prowess, Batman is still one man.
