Unfortunately this game retconned it, so it isn’t part of the arkham canon lol, and thus killer frost has never been on the squad. BUT ALSO; theyre pulling all their roster from the multiverse. Joker was dead lol, killer frost can definitely return even if she was on the squad.

Suicide Squad is supposed to be B-List and C-List villains who are unlikely heroes. For anyone wondering how the Leage Members are still alive, Waller said Brainiac was still experimenting on them. I'm not completely sure but that could be referring to the infused soldiers we fought in the game so far. Brainiac probably kept them for that purpose, and since he was the one retrieving the bodies, makes sense. Now as for the "deaths", either we were facing evil clones as some fans said, or Brainiac revived them somehow. I lean towards the latter because that means more usage out of them. For an example, in the Star Wars franchise the clone soldiers in episode 2 were made with Jango Fett's DNA, but he died by the time that movie ended. In the Clone Wars series, they said that in order to continue making clones, they had to stretch his DNA, and i'm no scientist but i'm sure that can only last for so long, even if Brainiac has 12th level intellect, so reviving can make the most out of the league. And as for why he didn't send them out to do his work again, well, we DID kill them when it was only possible through "the margin of error" (his words). so there, a possible theory to hopefully salvage anything decent from this game.

I hate it when DC does this other media in general but it’s stand out even more bad here because they referenced a suicide squad I actually liked based on Arkham universe and killed it off in game that is direct continuation of the Arkham games that fails to understand a lot of the things in the Arkham verse that’s literally incomprehensible to see as apart of the Arkham verse. Edit: Just because they look similar doesn’t take away from the fact that they take away from the implication that they are doing here using her specific design from that movie. If Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-verse has Spot destroy universes and we are shown Raimi’s universe being one of those universes that are destroyed, saying he looks like most spider-man dismisses what they are indicating there and the same applies to here. Killer Frost saying Mr. Freeze doesn’t prove anything. For all we know, Mrs. Freeze could’ve transitioned between then and now or Killer Frost could just be sexist because she thinks she looks like a man.

The Justice League being clones was easily predicted (as I and many others have). The problem is, the revelation now is "too little, too late." This should have been revealed at the end of the original game, not buried deep into hours of grinding post-end content. Even then, we still have the issue that the Suicide Squad are a bunch of sociopaths who gleefully killed the clones they thought were the Justice League. That there were clones does not remove Boomerang's attempt to urinate on Flash's corpse, Deadshoot's glee at Stewart's defeat/humiliation, or that Harley shot a helpless Batman to death as she lectured him. Also, is Wonder Woman still dead or was the a clone as well? Also, Metropolis, the City of Tomorrow, is a graveyard with 95% of its population dead. Well, similarly, this game has no tomorrow or future. The IP is dead and arrogant RINO (Rocksteady in Name Only) killed it.

You know, I was expecting Nora to be the freeze in this game and that would have been a cool (no pun intended) take for a different dimension. Although it’s just a genderbend, that’s it. Honestly I got a few ideas on how this could have been - Keep the genderbend except have Nora be freeze. I mean this could have been something the writers would have agreed with maybe? - my favourite alternative is to have killer frost be the character instead. It’s the obvious choice and one many have talked about when this freeze’s design was revealed. An obvious one and a change from the usual firearm character. Alternatively (this idea gets weird) but what if they chose killer frost and Nora was her motivation. Basically this freeze’s intro cutscene but have it be frost instead. It would make you wonder “why is she attached to Nora?” “What happened to Mr. Freeze in that universe?” “Was there ever a Mr. Freeze” “Were these two close?” “Roommates?” You know, basically have it be a strange change that can be an example of an alternative universe having a bigger difference than the one most would probably be accustomed to. A mystery could maybe be built on it. Maybe Frost took Nora’s pod away from Freeze because she felt an unhealthy attraction to seeing the frozen lady. Maybe have it hint that this was a selfish decision and she is basically trying to bring back someone who would not even know who she is. Maybe have her be a reflection to Freeze’s motives to doing what he does, only Frost is more reckless. Or maybe swap Nora with her husband and have what I just mentioned about being a reflection of the man she loves, but have her be somewhat the opposite in terms of approach to reach her goal. This is just my brain thinking of how this could become more interesting, it’s just a concept I thought of.

I don't think so. There were already some hints towards this in the base game, as well as datamined dialogue from The Flash presumably meant for the next season, which leaked just before launch. I think revealing the League were still alive and having the Squad rescue them was always the plan. Now if only they'd led with that as the premise for the post-launch content instead of implying it would just be "kill Braniac another 12 times".

What I’m getting from this is that each of the future DLCs, we’re going to save a different member of the Justice League that Brainiac kidnapped. Next, would be Batman, then Superman, and Green Lantern would be the final member to save. A little part of me sees this as Rocksteady going back in the right direction because this shows that (most of) the REAL JL is still alive. My hopes for the future of the Arkhamverse comes down to a Justice League game of some kind or a continuation of the Arkham games after Batman: Arkham Shadow. I have a love hate relationship with the game. I think the layout of having the real league (except ww) come back thru dlc episodes had potential, but at the same time they shouldve had some MORE hints that the fakes were clones for those who weren’t really paying attention to the details already left. For example, in regards to the ending with Batman, they shouldve had a cutscene panning back into the Brainiac ship and teasing an obvious pod holding the REAL league. Another thing that could’ve maybe kept more players would be in regards to combat; if there was a way to further improve it would have been to implement a DYNAMIC melee system (like a light/heavy attack with combos) while still having guns as the main mechanic. Skins are kind of hit or miss but when you have the Arkham, Classic and JL sets then you have a banger.
