@@justafellow5859 The echolocation is very high pitched to the point it doesn’t really affect us. Other more audible sounds can affect us, as certain bat calls can be as loud as 120 dB which can affect hearing.

I put out a bowl of cheerios and we called animal control just to see what to do because we had four dogs and five outdoor cats. He just hungout for a few days until he decided to go. He was there everyday for a while though in the same spot I thought he froze!

I heard noises too but it wasnt this. I use to live in a forested area which had a lot of bats. When I walked my dog at night I would see them and if they got close enough, you could hear them too. One night I heard a weird echoing sound that sounded like what you'd think bat echo location sounds like. I heard it coming down the road but I never saw anything. I started to run inside but it seemed to catch up with me and I could hear it right behind me. As I reached my houses courtyard it echoed in my ear. I ran inside screaming I was so scared. I have looked up bats, owls, and any other kind of night bird trying to figure out what it was because I never saw anything, and havent heard anything like it since.

Not when they live in your walls and scream every night keeping you up, not to mention that they (when infected with rabies) are among the highest amount of mammals with rabies that kill people a year. Also they always find a way back in, and they breed and keep a family, tear apart your walls, and keep your cats in your room (which is bad for me because then he always tries to get to my bearded dragon cage).

Last year, I was helping my grandfather clean the pool one evening as the sun set and the sky turned a deep violet. For about a week, as the sun was setting I blared the audio on repeat & we watched as the bats crawled out the house. On the hole they were coming out we put mesh over so they could only crawl down. When they would come back, normally they couldn’t figure out how to get back in. Eventually once all were out, we sealed the hole
