Fantastic sprinter and probably the best since Dayjur who I saw many times and still the fastest I have ever seen i remember seeing him actually change his legs as though he was changing gear at the furlong pole a true champion as I'm sure Baataash is

Mabs Cross needs a strong pace to aim at, she got it and still didnt place. Shows how fast Battash blitzed them. Different planet. Depending on the opposition next year, he could be about 8-10lbs below his best and still win a group 1 if he runs like this.

Blue Point and Battaash clearly the best sprinters in the world since Black Caviar. It's just a shame the Aussie raiders like Black Caviar, Merchant Navy. Takeover Target etc never ran against the likes of Dayjur, Oasis Dream, Blue Point, Battaash. They seem to always manage to avoid our actual best.

Ten sovereigns poor, , fluffed the start and used up to much went into the lead near enough, tank was empty 4f out, should be at least finishing 2nd in that field after the performance in the July cup even know it's a furlong less, his pace was blistering last day. But battash 5/2 overall best form, overpriced because of the track record, good horses go anywhere, sometimes it's his temperament that loses races.

1O Sovereigns appeared to lack the raw speed early on, in this quite sharp 5F, He therefore had to use his reserves from the off, to maintain his position,(he looks to be better suited to 6F races rather than 5F to me?) Bataash on the other hand was in cruise mode at this point, and was clearly under restraint . Personally I would love to see Bataash really sprinting over say 2to3f flat out to see just how much over 50 mph he could go ?Given that whilst still on the bridle, he reached 48.63mph in the second furlong at Goodwood earlier this season. i think for sheer speed he has to be one of the fastest thoroughbreds ever foaled?This makes him so exciting to watch!

Was a impressive performance but for me Dayjur was better.He beat the very very best sprinters. This race had nothing of the calibre of what Dayjur beat. Not knocking the horse as he is clearly very good.
