BattaBox met up with Eddy Remedy to find out what he has been up to and what he thinks about the Nigerian music industry now...
"We came out in 1997...the genre was afro hip hop music, todays that's afro pop music," Eddy tells Timothy.
"Who do you prefer? Wizkid or Davido?" Timothy asks Eddy.
"I never compare people (in the music industry)...Davido is satisfying a multitude of people and Wizkid is satisfying a lot of people...everybody has their crowd and space...they are both making waves!"

Ain't nothing like OLD SCHOOL MUSIC be it African American or in this case Nigerian...This group reminds me of alot of the 90's R&B groups here in America, I am really feeling "Shako Mo!!!" Old school music( clothes, cars, people) laid the path for this new generation so put some RESPECT on it!!!

Wow, this was a great interview. I'm not really familiar with the music, but I remember seeing the rapper in older Yoruba movies I used to watch with my parents. I appreciate Batta Box. Like I said, I'm Yoruba but was born and raised in the U.S. I know some things, others I don't. I speak the language, but of course not as well as the natives. This channel helps me bridge the gap and learn some things. Please, post more videos in the native languages. E se.
