It isn’t about a song being bad or good but whether people will enjoy it. Kpop is a mood maker. Get over the artistic aspect and treat it for what it is. Kpop is for the mass populous to enjoy including Americans. The Kpop group BlackPink headlined Coachella with over 125k mostly Americans in person banging to their mostly meaningless Korean lyrics. Imagine that… a Kpop act headlining Coachella

BABYMONSTER is a Korean new group from YG Entertainment, they debuted on November 27 with the single BATTER UP. BABYMONSTER are in the same company as BLACKPINK. Many call them the little sisters of Blackpink

They mix English and Korean in their lyrics, your mistaking the "n' word for the Korean word neaga, so don't be offended. It's just another language. Neaga means " I am " or referring to oneself context. The S.korean language is not as complex as English. Depending on how they pronounce the word, it could have a different context in referring to oneself. In Korea, it is very important to enunciate your words for the proper meaning to be made. i hope this helps you.

BTW, if it doesn't make sense, it's because your not Kpop fans, your new to it. If you were fans of Kpop , you would see by the title ,it's their debut. Their first song/mv and they are proclaiming in the lyrics that they are up to bat, it's their turn. The history is their senior group Blackpink ( both YG ) 7 years ago had their debut and is now the biggest girl group in the world. The ending dance break lyrics says it all. "They are the Monsters of the World, this is who we are " It's their intro song and paying homage to their seniors.

in kpop, they change lyrics to korean to english, they use English words to promote the songs outside of South Korea. and you guys will hear a lot this word "Naega" it sounds like the N-word, but actually is a korean word that means "I" or "Me" and this group is from Yg entertainment, the same company as Blackpink, if you don't know Blackpink, they are the most famous girl group in the world, the biggest girl group of South Korea, and also the Channel with most subscribers here on KZbin, this is the first girl group Yg entertainment is producing after Blackpink (7 years after). and they are already really famous, not only because of their company but also because their are amazing singers, dancers, and rappers, Yg entertainment is also knowing by their amazing rappers, the best kpop rappers are on this company, they have a really hip hop influence

kpop will almost ALWAYS consist of mix English and Korean, for this song specifically there was a bit more English then there usually is. Also please keep in mind English is not the only nor the oldest language 🤦‍♀️ Korean has been here longer, they are saying naega/niga which could mean “I” or “You”. Don’t you think if they were saying the nword you would’ve seen it in the subtitles? It’s very frustrating seeing how you amongst other reactors will see the subtitles, hear naega/niga, not see the nword in the subtitles and STILL assume they said it🤷‍♀️DOESNT MAKE SENSE!
