"Battery" - Chart Comparison (Fortnite Festival, Guitar Hero Metallica, Rock Band 2)

Battery - Metallica
The hardest song of the week, and a rare Rock Band throwback Metallica song. If I'm being honest with you, none of these charts are perfect. A hybrid of all 3 would be ideal. The intro is best on GH Metallica with all the extended sustains, no question. The verses I think are best on Festival, and the solo I'd pick pieces from each, mostly from RB2.

I definitely prefer the RB2 chart. I do appreciate some aspects of the Fortnite Festival chart such as the verses and the final part of the solo, but RB2 nails the solo as a whole and is just generally more fun to play. I will say that the Fortnite chart is better than the GHM chart however.

I've always had an affinity for the layout for RB2 and for so long I didn't know why. Today I finally realized why. The whole thing feels alive, so every button press and note hit actually provides a satisfying feedback feel that makes the song all the more satisfying to play and enjoy when you're actually on a streak. rb2 for most of the solo and the post-solo/outro riff, ghm for the extended sustains in the very beginning, fnf for the rest imo including the very start and end of the solo

As ive said before, FF needs to start stealing from GH to spice up these charts. We all know GH aint coming back. It cannot compete with what FF is doing so they FF might as well take what they can. Extended sustains, open notes, taps, X+ to name a few.

The mode just got made and within a year released a new guitar. It’s been reported that drums are coming and they can’t use those things without buying the code to how guitar hero plays

@@MitsubishiLancerEvo last I heard GH had to buy from Harmonix to even make GH in the way they do and Harmonix owns the patent for the gameplay. I could be wrong but I doubt GH owns those small gameplay features the same way Harmonix owns the main gameplay
