Battery Sensor Replacement

Car Battery Sensor Replacement,
Some modern cars have one battery sensor located with negative terminal some have two sensors located one with Posituve terminal and one with Negative terminal,
it is advisable to wear gloves and remove both battery terminal cables in order to avoid the elctric shock.,
In this video i have changed the negative battery terminal sensor as there was only one sensor in this toyota verso and the fault code one the diagnostic tool was P1 550 DTC BATTERY CURRENT SENSOR CIRCUT.
The original toyota part no is 28850 21020 SENSOR ASSY BATTERY, for electrical parts i would recommend to use original toyota parts.

I'm not an expert, so I'm just asking. Shouldn't you disconnect the negative side first so you can't accidentally arc out if you touch the vehicle with the ratchet and connect the positive side first when reassembling for the sane reason? Otherwise thank you for the quick concise video

Yes but if you done a millie of these it do t relly matter do t set the hot on metal it's easy and most of the time works it self luke this vid

If you don’t mind me asking, what vehicle were you working on, I have the same issue w my Nissan Altima 2015 S. Giving me a P1550 code for the battery current sensor. Would the sensor be on the negative terminal ?

Its Toyota Verso 2014 model, yes normally battery sensor is on negative terminal, its a good idea to check the battery terminal and cables aswell ( battery cables can be the cuprit too for battery current sensor fault code).

I have a 2018!Chevy equinox and the code P16DC came up. I’m thinking it’s the same thing going with this car, battery sensor module. It says the alternator isn’t charging the battery.

i have a 2019 Equinox with the same exact issue. Car shuts off at stop light when AC is on. We first thought it was the alternator. But it turns out to be the battery sensor
