No grease came with the pads to wipe on the underside of the pads? That stops the corrosion or is supposed to.

Hi, Todd I have a honda accord 2016 would you know if it removing the clamps to the battery affect my car's computer systems?

is the positive side of the battery bigger or is that just my battery because I am having trouble installing the top post

You really should clean the posts and terminals since you have them off. To answer questions below - some car computers will lose some settings depending on how long the battery is disconnected, but after a few trips it should 'relearn' what was erased.

I guess they can't hurt. I cleaned my terminals thoroughly and sprayed them with that red stuff (don't remember the brand atm) I check them every 6 months or so (by that time the red has disappeared) and reapply spray. No corrosion for about 3 years now.

Or get the anti-corrosion spray. Spray on both terminals
