Why oh why is this not a standard on all vehicles?

1:03, using an adjustable wrench to tighten the nut? WTF? Don't you have socket wrench? LOL
@matt43987 жыл бұрын
NetRep he borrowed the adjustable from his wife
@MadjikMan565 жыл бұрын
Not to mention he didn't even get the jaws on the nut but then proceeded to "turn" the nut. Twice.

lmaoo hey sometimes its not worth the extra effort\money to buy a socket set. as much as i would say a socket set is worth, in a non-professional setting, the scuffness is fine considering the only 'downside' is time spent. but if time spent is greater than just using an adjustable, then fuck it
@JasonSpitzMI504 жыл бұрын
Do you think you need a bigger wrench for that little bitty screw 🤪
@DrWells-qq1cc7 жыл бұрын
I just installed these on my car. Follow the instructions and they'll fit like a charm. I also had to use an adjustable wrench because I didn't bring the right case of sockets with me! :P

Should you remove the negative cable, then positive cable. then put on both washers. then put positive cable back on. Then negative cable?
@Lil_witte172 жыл бұрын
Always remove positive first that way you don’t run the chance of grounding yourself to the car
@007Dilana Жыл бұрын
@@Lil_witte17 Always remove negative first and connect it last. That way you eliminate the risk of shortening while working on the positive. (In case you toch metal part while tightening the positive terminal)

I think you forgot to do the other terminal
@etow8034 Жыл бұрын
If corrosion is forming on the positive terminal then the battery is being overcharged !

What's the green pad for? I only saw the red being used on the positive terminal.
@greensky4389 жыл бұрын
+Richie Sarinas . The green pad is for the other terminal, the negative post side. It's the same as the red one, just colored green to differentiate.

Just use hot water to quickly clean battery terminal corrosion. Do Not Use Baking Soda if it gets into the battery it will neutralize battery then your battery will be no good.

Not going to trust the video made by a guy using a 15 inch crescent wrench to tighten the battery terminal nut. And he didn't even tighten it
