The idea of jevils personality with the whole insanity that is spamton is a cool idea to me.

Same personality, but different view on the knowledge they have. Jevil takes "your choices don't matter" as an excuse to treat life as a game, while Spamton takes "your choices don't matter" as the higher-ups thinking his choices don't matter, so he tries to prove to them (and fails) that he can do more than they think he can. So if you just make Jevil more depressed, that's what Junkil would be like.

I noticed an interesting way that Junkil and Spamton are opposites of eachother: Spamton in this fight is trying to take Kris' soul and therefore gain his freedom: like how Undyne in undertale is trying to take the soul of Frisk and bring monsterkind freedom, who Junkil takes the form of. While Junkil, judging from the animation leading up to this was once very famous even having his own show at one point until Seam sabotaged it all. And my guess is he's fighting the lightners in a giant carousel in the sky as a huge show for everyone to see, and earning back his fame in the process by beating them: Like how Mettaton airs his fight with Frisk live for monsterkind to watch, who Spamton takes the form of. Just thought that was interesting.

My first thought was Battle against the world breaks the “Nows your chance to be a big shot/I can you can do anything” pattern… then I remembered that BIG SHOT is Called “Power of Big” in the Japanese localisation (as in “power of Neo”) so it’s still continuing a pattern, just with the name change to accommodate the world revolving and the additional Mettaton Undyne swap (plus “against the world” ties into Junkil being a conspiracy theorist in this AU) Its all very clever Also the song is very solid. Goshh I love the little details that show how much thought you put into this. Like how Junkil is a shadow puppet to contrast with Spamton being a marionette, and also to represent Jevil's darker nature. Also the Spear of Justice motif being used to contrast with the Battle Against a True Hero motif in Big Shot. It's just stuff like that which really shows you didn't just swap the character's clothes or anything like that.

I just noticed this but in the game Spamton has his hair tied in a ponytail and in his Boss form he has in hair down while Junkle starts off with his hair down and then ties it up in his Boss form. Just another cool detail I noticed which just shows how well thought out this AU is. Can't wait to see more! :]

Usually I get ticked off by choral lines in Undertale/Deltarune AU songs (since they were barely used in the actual game but are so overused in AUs)… but here, with the usage of Battle Against a True Hero, the choir fits perfectly!

I love the motifs starting with "Spear of Justice" right at the beginning having parts of "A Battle Against A True Hero", with "Beginning", or "Friendship" and also "[BIG SHOT]" but also having one really important to Jevils lore, "Lantern" (Shawms shop theme) Even having Jevils motif in there (0:40) His visual representation especially in the first few seconds is very reminiscent of Undyne the Undying. Also the area is very similar to Jevil's encounter, finally his hand is actually a devilsknife .

I get the gender thing bc it's the Undying body, but REDUX? Really? Spamton gets NEO because he downloads himself into and possesses Mettaton's conceptual NEO body. Junkil, on the other hand, VPNs into and melds with Undyne's immortal self-insert. Why does he/she/it/they get a capitalized NEO-esque name rather than a description of the Undying body they now command. Not only that, but Undyne's name partially rhymes with her adjective, leading to the obvious parallel of jUNKIL the UNKILlable, a much more fitting name than a bootleg NEO.
