Imagine an alternate reality where Clavel was the bad guy all along. Imagine that after the battle against Penny, Clavel reveals himself and come forward by threatening to expel the unmasked Team Star founder and her friends unless you defeat him in a decisive double fight. Suddenly, the bosses, who has seen the fight, come from nowhere, heal Penny's team and yours and encourage you. It's here and now ! You're ready for the last fight against every Clavel's boss-like pokemons, starter included, with Penny by your sides. In that cold and silent schoolyard, this track play for the battle that'll decide the future of Penny and her friends... That certainly would be incoherent with Clavel's character and all the plot (except for the starter). BUT this would be a fair repair for Penny to not have a Starmobile or boss phase.

That would have been absolutely epic. Having two villains, especially one that was supposed to be a mentor figure to the protagonist (since the Alola protagonists weren't supposed in-universe to see Lusamine as someone close to them, Clavell would have hit the feels even harder, and let's be honest: Guzma was barely a villain) and essentially having an evil starter (the closest we've come to this are Silver and what Malva did to the Fennekin line in the manga) would have made Scarlet and Violet even more unique.

nope but that would help alottt Once you do transcription enough you can sort of get a sense of what chords are which, and if not then you can just write down as closely as possible what you hear and then define the chord using that. So actually you don't really need to know exactly what chords are happening every time, just need to be able to filter out the individual notes inside.
