If this was in mobile I would assume that the matches would be imbalanced and unfair depending on the player's cats. Unless they add a proper matchmaking system then it could work out fine.

If this were to be brought to the mobile version, it would be awesome. There’s just the issue of making sure f2p players can actually stand a chance, but there are plenty of ways. Even then, it probably won’t happen…

I think the matchmaking system should be based on how far you are in the game, like you fight a player who has similar units

If this was on the mobile version, all cats should be level 30, with max talents, and before the players fight, each player gets to choose 10 cats from a random pool of 20 cats, doesn’t matter if they don’t have them unlocked or not.

If it was on the mobile version, it should have 3 modes, code play, random play & ranked play. Code play will have one host. On the host’s device, it will display a code for others to input for them to join the lobby. While they wait, they can change their lineups. The units everyone has is the same as the host. You can also make a public game where you fight a random person using the same cats as you. Random play is just what you said Ranked play speaks by itself. It will give you opponents on the same level as you. Let’s say, you’re somewhere on ITF 2 for example. The game will give you opponents that are on ITF chapter 2 Norway to opponents that are on ITF chapter 3 Floating continent. These three options are balanced and will make battle cats VS. fun on the mobile.

With the whole cat cannon trait thing you can just make a specialist lineup (for example, a red specialist lineup would contain, courier, pai pai, roe, ect.) and then fire the cat cannon. After that you can just absolutely destroy your opponent with specialists. Overall, while a duel feature does sound cool int he battle cats, there are just too many ways to exploit it.

Nah man, if we had online vs then the f2p users wouldn't have a chance, and the people who aren't lucky (me) would have to spend extra, that's actually the whole reason why I got unite, you can buy anything with real money, and I am very unlucky. I've been playing unite! for over a year now and just finished the nekoluga collection...

No, because the mobile app actually gets updates and the switch version does not. There is a HUGE portion of the mobile app missing from unite. Zombie, relic and aku traits aren't in the game, there's only like 70 ubers, the elemental pixies and the iron legion are completely absent.I've noticed that the level with epic catfruit seeds, the ones required to gain the Zeus and Greek gods true form, just doesn't exist, but instead of incorporating another way to get the true forms, they don't exist, unlike every other true form. There is a new way to get A. Bahamut that doesn't appear until you beat stories of legends, the 3 main stories, emc, itf, cotc, are all condensed into 3 different maps. For real I just got the physical form of the game because you get 10,000 cat food and the access to the nekolugas after you beat Japan lol I really doubt you read this far, but in conclusion, no.

Well in unite everytime any unit dies, your fort health also goes down, so meatshields aren't wise,it was made like that to avoid stalemates I'm guessing
