Taumateine is very young and learning- it’s his 1st tournament and he’s a teenager. The high shot was unfortunate but NZ didn’t concede any points during that period. And as far as fending to the face goes … that’s the way to do it ✋👊

NZ #15 is always trying to hit opponents in their faces. The hand off on monetta´s face was 100% with intention to hit his face with his open hand, and the tackle on Gonzalez the same thing, trying to use his arm to hit him in the face. He is more worried on that than in playing good rugby. Such a shame to see this kind of behavior in a team of a great rugby nation like NZ.

As for “consistently losing”, that’s hilarious 😂😂. They won the series in 2020 and 2023. “Devaluing the brand?” Nope. The ABs XVs side would kill for that recent world title success
