Are apocalypse tanks just not worth what they cost to build? I swear I've never seen a game where both sides actually build up their tech trees and the soviets actually bother building them. Sure a stacked battle fortress could beat them but that costs $4000 to build surely the equivalent value in apocalypse tanks could give them a fight. Plus they self-heal and as they get promoted they basically one-shot everything in the game. Is there something I'm missing?

Just found a Trojan horse strategy. British sniper, two spies, and two engineers in the battle fortress with three mirage tanks, chronosphere and sent to enemy base. Spies into power, sniper to fend off infantry and mirage tanks for vehicles.

origin is just EAs version of steam. no subscription needed. you only have to pay for the game. cncnet client for multiplayer is free

costs too much money for tec ect usually you just put down a few refineries and sell em so you have 3 harvesters or so rest goes into tanks if you dont start tank production early you just lose

Almost impossible to get. Stolen Tech requires Spies, and Spies are nigh on useless in PvP. Every competitive player always has a lot of dogs for cannon fodder.

What's the advantage of building guardian IFVs instead of tanks at the start of the game ? They cost more and they got taken out pretty easily at the start of the game by the rhinos ?

I can only guess, but I assume he already knew he was going to go for battleforts for end game, so making the GGI's beforehand would be more cost effective in the long run. The GGI's get recycled into the BF's and if he still had some IFV's, great, but even if they die stalling for time it's better than grizzly tanks which just straight up lose to Rhinos.

I'd say yeah the range is really good. It's hard to find anything as Allied that can actually counter a Battle Fortress full of GGIs, Grizzlys get shredded in equal cost and Prism Tanks don't dish out enough damage against them and they even outrange Mirage Tanks! They outrange practically every ground vehicle in the game except Prism Tanks. I haven't had much experience vs Battle Fortresses as Soviet or Yuri though, so maybe they have good options against it.

If you mind control a battle fortress with Yuri, I'm guessing you get the units inside it as well until it dies or you remove them. That would be a pretty decent counter, provided you can actually reach it in time.

Units inside a Battle Fortress will attack what you target iirc. What about SEALs? They'd easily be able to kill any clones before they get close enough and SEALs are a pretty common choice to put inside of BFs. So that just leaves Masterminds, but they're easy to counter by just spamming a bunch of GIs or Conscripts. I think a better counter would be Magnetrons because it would completely disable the Battle Fortress from attacking and has more range than a Battle Fortress.

guys, Chrono-demolition truck is the best anyway! Get 5 demolition trucks, use chronosphere and you will blow everything everywhere :) Or tesla-IFV, this combination is funny

It is not op because you have to fill it up with guardian Gi, and the firepower of 5 guardian Gi is not that strong, so it needs the range, a lot of time the enemy can dodge the missiles as well.
