Another useless fact. According to the Ancient Greeks, the sky was bronze, not BLUE. They had no word for blue but if bronze (an alloy of 88% copper and 12% tin) is allowed to oxidise, it turns a blue-green colour which the Greeks thought looked like the sky and, of course, the sea. Blue pigments were known as Κυανό, Κυανούν from which we get the word Cyan. There you go, another load of idiocy which BLEW up in your face....🤪

You know I love the useless facts Bill 🤣 I can’t say I will remember them all, after all I take after Dad 😅 but I didn’t know that the Greeks thought the sky was bronze, that’s pretty incredible to think about really!!
