Can you share references for the hadiths mentioned at the end about shaytaan appearing to the caliphs?

As Sayed said, let's not go too much in detail on this :) But you can put forward this question whenever we arrange the live session with Sayed.

Why should we not go too much in detail on this? Seems like a very important topic to me that I’ve never heard discussed before

Because it is not directly linked to the Seerah. InshaAllah once we explore the days after the Prophet we will be exploring this in detail :)

I have a question seyed. If shaytaan has appeared in the form of a man from another tribe who came to badr and ran away, how is it fair that the real man receives backlash and slander from the Meccans for something he didn't do? Even if he was a bad person, is it really logical to beleive that Allah swt would allow a man to be slandered who was not involved at all? I think this is very unlikely and not very logical. A more logical idea would be the idea that Shaytaan came in human form that was not recognised by the people. If you or anyone else would reply with their thoughts, it's very much appreciated.

If he had appeared at Badr as a person not recognized the Arabs wouldn't have followed him. Also, he being polytheist makes him completely involved in this. (Team Thaqlain)

I share Mohamads questioning as I know that shaytan has no 'Sultan' on humans, he cannot order us, he can only decorate and tempt, the explanation I'm my mind has headed for is that Iblees tempted that man with for example that if he took the banner and won the battle he would harvest a name (fame) the spoils of the battle (money) and the hearts of the men fighting the Muslims (power), and he went for it then fled the battle, ?
