As a foodie from NYC who just went to Disney this summer, I can safely tell you that all the food they sell at the parks was a huge disappointment. Everything we ate around the world at Epcot tasted and looked nothing like the real authentic dishes. On top of that, the amount they charge for that bite sized portion you get is beyond ridiculous. From the look of your birria, I got secondhand embarrassment looking at that sad dish they served you. As much as we looked forward to eating here for months leading up to our trip, I can assure you that Disney DOES NOT do food right. Their desserts are up there though!

While I agree that some foods aren’t authentic & aren’t the best, there are definitely plenty of offerings that are fantastic. Maybe you just didn’t get any of the good stuff 🤷🏻‍♀️

@@wrightdownmainstreet Yes, we had some pretty decent foods around Disney, but for the most part, a lot of items were extremely underwhelming. Like the Ronto Wrap at Galaxy's Edge, lobster roll at Columbia Harbor House (all bread, no lobster), steak tacos from Flavors of Fire, all the wings at Brew-Wing, fish & chips at UK, the ramen noodles from Noodle Exchange (they served linguine and passed it off as ramen), and all the foods at China like the dumplings, duck bao, and dan dan noodles (they served spaghetti instead of dan dan). I eat at Chinatown in Manhattan or Queens at least once a week, and can assure you that none of Epcot's asian foods tasted anything like how it's suppose to taste. Even the tikka masala wasn't on point, but was still good. It's not only messed up that they charge so much for bite sized foods, but to showcase the foods of different cultures like this is such a shame and insult to all these countries.

Nomad Lounge looks good! I've only had drinks there so far. I had those birria tacos at Sunshine Seasons on Sunday and agree they were just ok but needed more everything. Side note, Ryan looks like he's falling asleep in the background while you were trying the octopus! 😂

I believe seasons was corn. Nomad could have been flour but I know for a fact they have corn tortillas there too so can always swap out for corn if it was flour

Thanks for covering Birria Tacos they are so good. Did you try the Taco Bell ones or were those not authentic enough for you? I was gonna try them even though it a junk food style but they stopped them after so little time. I had some authentic ones just the other day!!! So good with fresh squeezed lime on top.

Thank you for being a good sport and trying these tacos. As a Mexican and living in Texas, both of these tacos look pretty bad. If any place in Texas or Mexico sold tacos like that, they would be out of business

In other words those birria tacos would be great if they were birria tacos. As for that drink mixing sparkling wine with hard liquor is poison for me. You would pay $30 for the octopus? Why not 32 ? That makes it an even 4$ per tentacle.
