This game was the first Cod I ever played. The Campaign was well varied, with epic missions. Looking back on it now. I stand my childhood impression. Africa, Scilly and eventually Germany. And it felt like when Hawkins promoted the player. It was earned.

I wonder how the Italians and Germans managed to communicate the way they did. Because from what I've heard, the Italians relied on German armor and planes because their own were garbage. And don't even get me started on the ISR's ineptitude. Did the Italian military conscript the entire population of South Tyrol as translators? That's about what I'd expect it would take.

Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Italian airplanes (mordern one) were far superior to the germans counterparts. Also they "did" rely on german armor only cause rommel fucking lost all the italian armored divisions in Africa for escape. Most of italians who fought under german generals, had italian commanders. Most of the time there were more italians than germans on the frontline.

The Italians in general were just weakened before the war started and moral was low by the time Husky kicked off. Poor military command and dwindling support for the fascist party put the Germans at odds with the Italians. I don’t even think they were cooperating when Sicily was invaded
