A stunning performance! I'm from a family descended from one of the Normans. The Saxon warrior was an amazing fighting machine. The Norman took Sicily and was an even more terrifying warrior especially on horseback.

Which Norman, may I ask? Allegedly my ancestor was Ingelram de Lyons, a Norman from Eastern Normandy, I think he fought in the battle and was granted land in Northhamptonshire by William the Conqueror.

I'm glad to see you approve of it so far. Tis a shame big budget (*musket era) historical films, such as this and Waterloo, are unlikely to be made again as they weren't successful enough in the box office.
