He would have used Sceptile to use Sharp Blade against Regirock first, if Regirock had weakened Sceptile, send Heracross, turn him into Dynamax, use Max Knuckle to take down Regirock and increase the attack twice with Moxi's attack and ability and so on. Maybe Ash could have won and not the Regis.
