First of all, bringing up russia makes sense because it's the russians in the game (your point is valid) Second, Germany IS europe so I wouldn't call it invading, but another superpower like China would have the capability of invading Europe, successful or not. OMG this game !!! I loved all the modern's warfare campaigns ! I can remember like it was yesterday that mission in Germany ( I think ) when you are into a tank in MW3, clearly one of my favorite !!!!

The Modern Warfare series is getting a revival because of the current situation (2022) Russia-Ukraine conflict. But now I'm wondering what about COD Ghosts plot/story in particular? Is there any significance to that aswell? I'd really like to know now...If anybody would want to comment about it.

I can tell you as a Venezuelan that no. I highly doubt that Nicolas Maduro would even dare do anything against the US. Our country is on the most pathetic state that it has ever been in its history and the armed forces are a joke. They can't even put up a fight against the colombian guerillas with whom they have drug deals.

The war in MW2 was considered justified due to Allen being part of the attack on the airport. It was not until later that the world found out Makarov was responsible.

Allowing The hardliners and Major Petrov s Ultranationalist Military rise up against the Ultranationalist Party, telling that Vorshevsky is weak and the US gone a step to far ( there was a new cold war against the US and the Ultranationalist Russia) . Allowing Them to prepare a war against the will of Vorshevsky and for the first few days Unknown by NATO and russian goverment

it's not that they were seen as such it's just politically for an american company alot more logical to have russia as the bad guy, having Germany, France or someone else become "the bad guy" and fight wars across europe would be controversial and counter productive to the US Department of Defence propaganda

Technically they could very much still with their massive nuclear stockpile. They could obliterate all the Western Hemisphere if they in the mood lmao. So I wouldn't take them lightly given that their conventional army perform badly. The kind of power that Russia have is on par with owning a Death Star so they still very much a threat

Nuclear bombs take a lot of upkeep, a whole hell of a lot more than tanks and APCs, and considering how poor of a condition those are in... well, I won't say we should risk it by going to war, but I also am certain that a vastly larger amount of western nukes work, than Russian nukes...
