Today we're going to make a flame Gleeok fight against a Frox. They say two three heads are better than one, but is it true?

Frox can just survive having all of their ore deposits destroyed for some reason, I've encountered it in normal gameplay several times and all I can think of is the ore deposits aren't linked to it's HP directly, they're just weak spots that allow you to actually hurt them, since you can technically kill a Frox by just attacking any part of it's body, although it takes much much longer.

The weak spots do have individual HPs for example this Frox's weak spots have 420 HP. So it's probably that.

The Frox can also be damaged by hitting it in the eye, so with perfect aim the Gleeok may have been able to kill it. That would take forever to get to work, though, and it may be impossible. Hitting it normally would also eventually kill it, but that would take even longer.

I'd like to imagine that a Frox could totally defeat a Gleeok realistically. However a Gleeok could also body the Frox if it stays out of its range. The thing with Froxes is that they have by far the largest mouth of any and all enemies in the game. The Gleeoks heads just so happen to be much smaller than its mouth combined (I think you see where I'm going) therefore if the thought came to a Frox while fighting the Gleeok, it could just jump up to its heads and chomp down, beheading the Gleeok. On the other hand the Gleeok would definitely be intelligent enough to just take to the skies and bombard the Froxes ore deposits (I'm sure theyd quickly see those as an obvious weakspot). It'd be a close-ish battle, though I see the Gleeok winning in most cases because of their obvious trump card of flight. Its a good matchup though!

8:41 Something I’ve never noticed when fighting a gleeok, it uses its tall apparently when fighting up close but never seen it since players usually fight from a distance, myself included.

I literally just watched like 2 hours of this same sort of thing but in Elden Ring lol such a cool idea to put these iconic open-world bosses in a fight to the death!

This just shows how strong froxes really are, it almost defeated the gleeok despite having only a quarter of the gleeok's health. If they had the same amount of health the frox would have most definitely won the fight.

I think I tried that but it didn't work. The fight mod feels very inconsistent, you try something out and it works, then the next time it doesn't.

WDYM the Frox cheated? The Gleeok had an unfair advantage (being able to fly) The frox would have won if the Gleeok didn't fly

The ore/rocks on it's back were all gone but it didn't die, the Gleeok did start it though 😆

@@Swordy25 I suggest for the rematch, you put them both in a place that doesn't give the Gleeok the high ground. Maybe the training arena at hyrule castle?

The Frox is also mostly invulnerable except for a few weak points though, which is also kind of cheating (at least as much as flying).

@@delllee4915 The fight ended in a draw because the of the Frox's weakpoint mechanics, though. Also keep in mind that the Frox is immune to elemental damage, which is the majority of the damage a Gleeok deals. Flying is no less an inherent part of a monster's abilities than strong defenses. Preventing the Gleeok from flying would be like taking away the Frox's armour and elemental resistance.
