It's sad how much Valencia have fallen from grace - all due to terrible management by the owner (Peter LAME). To think Valencia CF was once in the position of Atletico de Madrid today - a serious rival to Real Madrid and Barcelona and hence 1st place contender. Now, after becoming nearly bankrupted financially, they sold half of their players. I expect Valencia will finish somewhere in the mid-table this season, and can only hope they can avoid relegation.

I have heard some lies told by some Villarreal CF fans regarding the rivalry. Although I understand that they have to be justified in some way. It's not like that at all and I know it first hand. It is much more complex than all this, but to summarize it very much, I will say first that Valencia CF does not look at Villarreal. He even likes her. From Villarreal, there is a lot of fanaticism against Valencia CF. It is normal for two things: 1.- The Villarreal fans are mostly people from the province, who are fans of Barcelona or Real Madrid, who go to watch first-class football at the Villarreal stadium. And hence the antipathy they feel against Valencia CF, since in the province of Castellón, Valencia CF fans coexist with those of Barcelona and Real Madrid. 2.- And the few who are truly Villarreal fans, those who renewed their season ticket when the yellow team went down to the second division (4,000 out of 15,000) feel animosity against the biggest team in the region. Just like what happens in Castellón and Alicante. It is something normal and natural. Although they say the opposite because it is what they would want, at Mestalla, Villarreal is liked for being a Valencian team. Congratulations on the very interesting video. However, keep in mind what I have told you, although in a very summary way, since they have not told you the truth.
