You know me... I just had to get my hands on this because it's too pretty! However, I also like to check out dupes and more affordable options so I bought a couple different ones so I could do a little Battle of the Flower Jelly Lipsticks for you guys! I love how pretty these are and I can't wait to wear them more :) Plus, I can't believe the other lipsticks were only $3-4! Like I mentioned in the video, the prices did change a little bit from when I bought them (I actually double checked my invoices from when I placed my order to what they're listed at now) so I just rounded the numbers. I think i heard somewhere that the kailijumei one doesn't have shades. I think the four shades you were saying were the 4 flowers inside, not the shades.

I absolutely DESPISE lipstick for the pure fact that they're uncomfortable for someone who constantly licks/bites her lips. But I'm so in love with jelly lipsticks. They feel like really smooth and thin lip balm, the color doesn't come off when I bite skin off my lips (I also have perpetual lip boo boos from lip chewing) and I love eating and drinking without having to check my makeup every 5 minutes. Perfect for low maintenance ladies 💜 You're also the prettiest youtuber I've seen in a while, love. And adorable personality to boot

All of the kailijumei are the same shade. The website states that the color is referencing the color of the flower in the lipstick, not the shade of the lipstick

This is such a great video. I love how you compared the Kailijumei lipstick to the other two!! I had absolutely no interest in the flower jelly lipstick until I saw that there were cheaper options!

I really like these kind of review videos! I bought some knock-off Kailijumei lip products on ebay for $6, but they came in the same packaging, had a nice smell, had a really pretty tint and are just generally really fun to use!

Are you sure it's from Germany? Cuz I'm Chinese and the spelling makes perfect sense when you say it in Chinese. Also on top of that, the color Barbie doll powder I think actually means Barbie doll pink cuz pink and powder are the same word in Chinese....

Shao Haoqiu omg it's not a Chinese name, just stop! everything is made in china... it's a German product and a German company, they like pretty much 90% of companies in the world do, pay factories in China to manufacture for them because it's cheaper. I know this video is old now, but I also have three lip jellies I bought when this was a trend. One of them is the same kailijumei that you showed;another came in this lip care set from Ulta Beauty; and the last is from this brand called Lipping that I got off of Yesstyle. My favorite one surprisingly is from Ulta Beauty. It has a fruity smell and taste and I love the color and feel of it. Lipping comes in second for me because it is the most mediocre of the bunch. Everything with it is just okay, including the packaging and how it looks, which is kind of cloudy. Kaulijumei comes in last for me mainly because of the taste. It is awesome in every other way; but the first day I put it on, any time I accidentally licked my lips or had a second sip of my coffee, all I could taste was this really acrid bitterness. Either I got a kailijumei from a bad batch, or they all taste horrible like that. That's enough for me to almost never wear it though, which makes me sad cause it was the most expensive and luxurious one otherwise.

I don't trust knock-offs. Especially ones that have different names on the packaging & website, and the ones that are clearly passing off another brand's materials as their own. They're suspicious.

Well up to you then, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. If the knock-off item can't even make sure that the their listing online is accurate, you'd start to wonder about quality control and where else they lack it.

You are wrong sorry greywind makeup with same packaging always come from the same place at all. The make up industry is a gold mine for criminals that make counterfeit knock offs they can come from dirty in clean labs and the cheapest stuff is used weather dangerous or toxic or not because these knock criminal makers only care about making money. You know about fake Mac products right made in china? It's only sometimes that things come from the same place but not always.

When a lipstick comes in a tube from another company (like the one in the etude house tube), it's a dead giveaway that it's not from an official factory, and as such, there is no way to know what they put in it. Google "fake/counterfeit makeup", a lot of people have had adverse reactions from fake Chinese makeup factories. I'm not saying that these ones are necessarily bad, what I mean is that there is no way of knowing the actual ingredients, and it CAN be dangerous.

How you store them affects them like any other beauty product. If they're in a warm or humid place they'll turn like anything else does

I know I can't be the only one, but I feel lonely in my contempt for the flower jelly lipsticks. Color changing/jelly lipsticks have been around for a really long time, and the flower while pretty seems like it would get in the way after you use it for a while.
