I work a desk job. I recently got a standing desk and treadmill that goes under it. I walk 8-10 miles every day now and have so much more energy at the end of the day. I’m doing MORE physically in conjunction with my normal work and it’s made my job easier. Desk jobs where you sit all day can be extremely tiring. I even feel like doing more after work whereas before I didn’t have much energy left.

Mental endurance and physical endurance two separate things

That’s what people who have easy af jobs say. Wow sending emails and attending zoom meetings is hella hard. Crazy work haha

@@Peek4nXbox that’s like saying apples and oranges are the same because they’re fruit. lol man sending email is hard af I know. I understand. Omg mental stress lol. Calm the fuck down maybe. Deadlines ? Not new. Customer service ? Sucks but you know how to fake it until you make it haha. Sitting down inside all day. Ohhhh no not a meeting where I have to write stuff down and talk. I’m beat

@@Peek4nXbox lol you’re the one reading with an assumption of tone. Which is in fact your own. Not mine. It’s written word. Imagining how I’d speak the words is on you. Also… you’re*. I don’t think you really know what frantic means lol.

Not wrong. You sit at a desk. Come work a physical job. I wish I could sit a desk all day and send emails then cry about being tired and make more money lol.
@RobertTeodorescu263 ай бұрын
Did that too. Physical job and office. Both are important, both can get you tired. That’s my point. Not that one is more important than the other.
Sir,respectfully,i have worked as a customer service reprezentative for a number of different companies.Try it for one month,see how it feels when people are literally screaming and cursing at you for 8 nonstop hours,meanwhile make sure that you respect every procedure accordingly,while dealing with huge lists of names and numbers,deadlines,orders,problems,not to mention all the incompetent moronic customers and sometimes teammates.All this and more,with barely a minute of break in between each call,in which you have to register and explain the situation in the system quickly before your minute expires.And you will be thrown in the next call and repeat the whole process all over again.Nonstop screaming from the angry customers will send you over the edge,but remember,you're not allowed to scream or curse back or you will end up without a job and possibly even sued.

@@deftdeltron9944 still sitting at a desk. still indoors. still not lifiting heavy anything. do what you do best and sit down lol customer service has to do with pretty much every job out there minus a few. so complaining about that is erroneous af. all that shit you mentionned is super easy if youre an organized person and not a space cadet or bundle of nerves which you seem to be. whatever makes you feel better about being overpayed and underworked lol

Than do it. What is actually stopping you? I used to work in a storage, I said screw it, went to college, took an office job and man...is brainkilling. Back in the days, standing in a circle at -24 degrees with 4 other guys, bothload of work but we still stopped at the same time to eat, speak, bound. At a desk job you barley got to eat(if), you work continuously, and is so god damn boring, no real bounding anymore...you cant trust anyone. I would go back any time at lifting heavy things 10 hours per day if it pays me as well as it pays to help old guys installing their software.
