No. Because if they fight to death they will both lose prone to injuries or even a small injury on the leg is fatal because then the predator wont be able to hunt for food. The only way to find out which bear or cat is the strongest is to illegally put them in a cage 1vs1. So going by that, how can these two bears in the video, who are fighting during mating season(may) already have all their fat built back up, if they have only been out of hibernation for 3 or 4 weeks? If it's later in mating season, say, late June, it's still only been 8 weeks since they emerged from hibernation, and so their fat reserves arent built up yet. Especially not when they've been fighting and mating lol.

Judging by their fights I'd say he's on-par with Khabib and Daniel Cormier as the best wrestlers in the UFC currently. That's how good Khabib is at wrestling. Looks like shit, but he gets it done again and again. It's his frantic movements, and also his endomorphic body type that conceals a lot of his strength doing it I think. Humans and their livestock are the most "dominant" mammals on the planet.
@Veladus7 жыл бұрын
Humans are the dominant mammal, obviously. If you don't count humans, the blue whale. They keep colliding with ships because they've been so long without predation that they've lost their fear response. They literally don't even understand danger anymore. On land? The African bush elephant. You may be noticing a pattern here. Weighing upto 11 tons, they could easily one-hit-kill any bear. As for bears, the largest is a tie between the kodiak and the polar, which are so closely related they can produce fertile offspring together. If you want a "most badass for its size", the honey badger is everything its meme says it is and more.
@adamlone55486 жыл бұрын
A grizzly would definitely destroy a gorilla or any of the big cats, but drop one off in Africa and it wouldn't even make the top 3 in terms of size and power. I rhino or a hippo could easily overpower a grizzly, and an enraged elephant could probably one-shot it.

I've seen other fights between bears and between other animals of the same species even hippos. I've noticed that very rarely do they actually bite or cause actual harm. They posture, they threaten and push each other around but that's it. It seems the one that can push the other back is the winner and both accept it. They might have some scratches or accidental damage but that's usually it.

@OrangeUtan110 жыл бұрын
Đức Mỹ Triệu I know sometimes tigers can kill russian brown bears by sneaking up on them but brown bears often kill siberian tigers as well. A coastal grizzly or kodiak are just so big and their skin is is tough I dont think even a siberian tiger would try to ambush one of those.
@OrangeUtan110 жыл бұрын
Polar bears also have been known to kill adult bull walruses and the males walk around all in the polar winter without much food. Polar bears can endure so much.
@OrangeUtan110 жыл бұрын
Đức Mỹ Triệu Yes we are talking about a siberian tiger vs a kodiak or coastal grizzly both of these are far bigger than a russian brown bear and far more aggressive. Relistly even if a tiger tried to ambush a grizzly bear, the bear would tear the tiger to pieces. Both siberian tigers and russian brown bears are capable of killing each other. If a tiger went up against a grizzly the grizzly would win.
@OrangeUtan110 жыл бұрын
Đức Mỹ Triệu A grizzly bear is a type of brown bear. A grizzly bear is the american brown bear and it has several different types the largest and most dangerous is the kodiak bear and the coastal grizzly. The russian brown bear is not a grizzly bear because its from russia not america. So a grizzly is a brown bear but a brown bear isn't always a grizzly if that makes sense.
