I thought Battle Royale was the Korean novel, which "heavily influenced" the western Hunger Games book. Then we got the western Hunger Games movies. Then the Battle Royale movie a bit later.

@@googiegress Maybe their was a Korean version made later, but as far as I'm aware the original was a Japanese book that was then adapted into a film. That film was one of the things that inspired The Hunger Games. Also, the original Japanese Battle Royale film came out in 2000, which is 8 years before The Hunger Games novel was published, let alone the film adaptation.

Achtually, the movie Battle Royale (2000) from Japan might be considered the first dystopian teen survival "there can only be one" battle royal. Hunger Games did popularize it for the USA. Going way back, Running Man with Arnold Schwarzenegger could be the first "Game Show" survival movie. The original man hunting man source would be "Most Dangerous Game".

you're blitz/supports really growing Pally!!! If I can recommend two support observations/tips: As support (and IMO, in general in LOL) you should try to buy a pink ward on "each back" (if you don';t have one active minimum) Your visions scores are good, but your pink wards could be a huge impact!

If I might follow up his great advice: wards can be divided into three parts of the map - aggressive (past river), neutral river wards (objective and usual tank wards), and defensive wards.

I don't understand the mechanics of this game at all. Apparently the whole job of the "support" is to feed the "carry", and they're always on bottom? And the same map is played over and over? I'm just having a hard time understanding how this game is one of the esports kings but HotS is dead. I played a little bit of dota back when it was a "map" in WC3, and I absolutely detested last-hit mechanics. Watching Pally's videos has not changed my opinion of last-hit mechanics one bit, lol.

Watching support gameplay is not the way to understand why last hitting is a thing. That said, LoL is trash. Maybe watch some Dota 2, potentially less trash. The carry+support duo is bottom because dragon is bottom and you gotta control that. If you had the solo bot you'd have less power there. The support can also roam and set kills up in other lanes, it doesn't need to be chained to the carry, esp. if the carry sucks.

If you are Blitz then you really shut down Kat hard. You have 3 ways to put her out of her ult. Kat has outplay potential, but she's always been trash in teamfights. She's like melee Li Ming..which really just doesn't work.
