U.S. actually has a descend team, I'd say they've came in forth place in the past. It's just that Russians are one of the two founders of this modern sport and are very elite at it.

+LordEd21 21 Actually U. S. team mostly used swords while Russians have a front line of swords and pole arms and in the back. Russians developed their own tactics that work. The second best team "Ukraine" tries to copy it with good results against others, but still gets demolished vs Russia. Personally I'm surprised that U. S. team hadn't included more of eastern European tactics in their own game play. They all share tips with each other and this had been going on 2009 i believe.

In the first fight, 1 Russian pole arm advance too far and was engaged by 2 U.S. pole arms, but they took so long in that contest they never had a chance to bring him down.
