This was a great comparison! I’d choose Dior based on the fact that it set your liquid products better. I like using the Kosas powder to finish my makeup instead of set it

@@sensleep setting generally refers to "locking" your liquid/cream products in place with a powder, while finishing generally refers to the a final powder application to achieve the desired, well, finish to your skin, as well as making the blend and application of your various complexion products more seemless.

I bought the Dior powder during the sale because I wanted to own a luxury product, but now I'm having doubts! The Kosas powder sounds like it would suit my dry skin better - no fragrance and a more filtered look!!

Just found your channel... fantastic video. I bought the Dior just before VIB, I like it and it’s funny I can’t really pinpoint why. I LOVE Dior face and body foundation which is why I went with Dior.

I rececntly just bout the cloud set powder, I was so close to buying the Dior backstage no power, but they didn’t have my shade… I did end up buying their primer & backstage foundation, along with the kosas concealer & cloud set. Hopefully I will like all of these cause they were expensive!!! 😫 but usually makeup is worth buying the more expensive product because the finished product is soooo worth it! Thank you for this insight/comparison I would love to see the difference between the two.

I literally went to sephora today to look at both these powders to decide which one to pick up during the sale, i really couldnt decide. Now seeing your video im even MORE undecided lmao. Maybe ill get both and test them out and return one if it doesn’t work for me. I also have dry skin too

I hate returning anything to Sephora because of the waste -- the one you return is going straight to a landfill. The products are so similar & both are nice - I've used up one of each now and I can't tell the difference. Also have dry skin. Only caution: the Dior runs a bit dark.

I received my kosas powder a few days ago and I’ve been loving it, I have normal to dry skin. Dry under eyes. My t zone does get a tad oily. But so far, I’ve been enjoying it

So far, I enjoy them both, but I would like to keep playing both by keeping your analysis in mind.:) I also bought Sephora Collection Micro Smooth Baked Powder Foundation. It's a foundation, not a setting powder, but the effect is also similar to Kosas and Dior's ones!

Chelsea you look so beautiful and effortless in this video. Your foundation looks so beautiful and I’ve been curious about the LYS product line for a while. Seeing it on your skin as someone with freckles as well I can’t wait to try it even more and I have dry skin. I can’t wait to try the kosas powder. I was actually interested in it because it said it was a sheer powder and people air it had a light airy quality and was seamless on the skin and it sounded like it would be good for dry skin. But now you have me very curious about the Dior powder. I am hella picky about powder so far I truly only LOVE my hourglass veil loose powder but I really want a pressed powder too.

We have a very similar skin tone do you use the kosas powder in pillowy in the summer when you are more tanned?

I wear shade Comfy down my T-zone and to set my under eye area and I use shade Pillowy for the perimeter of my face. If I get a good tan, then yes, I can use shade Pillowy for my T-zone and under my eyes. 😊. I hope this helps!

I have the Dior powder and after using it longer it gets this grey film over it. I have by now removed the film twice using a spoolie, but it's there yet again. It's a great powder, but for the price, that film kind of annoys me.

When I seen the Dior coming out I was very interested but then decided to just get the kosas before the Dior was even released and I am VERY happy with the kosas! Is it just me though, I feel like the Dior side looks a little heavier? Like you have more coverage but the kosas looks airy and skin like which I looove!

So glad you like the Kosas powder! And I get what you mean. The Dior side doesn’t feel heavier, but I do think the Kosas powder is just airy and skin like in its application. I believe the formulation of the Kosas powder compared to Dior has something to do with it as well.

Kosas powder is NOT suitable for dry skin at all. My under eye are desert dry after apply Kosas. Is very good powder, but dry
