Maiden has better musciians, though I loved Metallica up to their black album, if you want riffs, Black Sabbath totaly kills Metallica in the heavy metal scene, Maiden is more melodic metal. But in terms of skills in live performances, Metallica is fucking sad compared to Maiden.

Some riffs of Iron Maiden were played with a lighter less heavy tone than Metallica so that’s why you get the classic rock band. And they are to style of 80’s metal/hard rock. As Metallica is US and Iron Maiden is British. I liked Iron Maiden more but not saying anything bad about Metallica because they are both bands. Edit (Hallowed Be Thy Name was my favorite riff from this vid. Great cover Danilo!)
