I was at this game... This was literally the last game of the entire tournament and both RJ and Jalen put on a show. Jalen was putting on a show in warm-ups, off the backboard, between the legs, alley-oops, dude is freakishly athletic, but can shoot. Imagine if you took Andrew Wiggins' athleticism and put it in a player that actually cared about basketball and could shoot, and you get Jalen Green. RJ Hampton on the other hand, is really shifty, and has great handles and is athletic enough to finish well around the basket. He can shoot well and he gets a ton of foul shots because he likes to attack and has great court vision. They're both really skinny and lanky, but Green can jump a little higher. Overall they're both really good, but RJ has to do more because his team isn't as good as Jalen's; that big man on Jalen's team (#14) was postering some people too.

That's what I think is the problem with top recruits today (although not all of them). I can't think of any that are real lockdown defenders, or those that pride themselves on locking up the other teams best player. Only one that really comes to mind, is Collin Sexton. But it's also understandable if these guys are their teams' primary scorer. They'd rather save their effort and energy for the offensive side of the ball. Maybe I'm not watching close enough, but that's what it looks like to me.
