I dont understand why historians are so obsessed with Waterloo? Napoleon became reckless in 1813 after the failed invasion of Russia, he tried using his new army filled with young recruits and weak horses by thinking they would be able to perform as good as the men of 1795-1809. Only take a look at Leipzig, Dresden and the spring summer campaign of 1814 to see how he recklessly engaged the enemy like a wounded prideful person . So Waterloo holds no value to me, it was the same man thinking he could win by virtue of desire rather than logic

Watching the battle unfold like this, one has to wonder how Nap even considered he had a chance. It's one failed attack after another. Most of the coalition forces were not even engaged.

Не совсем точно выстроен ход боя. Непокзана, атака английской ковалерии на французскую пехоту. Так же встречая котр атака французских улан. Подошедшие прусские части забрали на себя большую часть Французской Гвардии. Так же на взятую штурмом ферму LA Haye. Бонопарт выставил батарею, которые раскрошила центр английской армии. Но прусские войска продолжали подходить и пришлось делать новый фронт. Из-за этого на прорыв пошло лишь 30 % гвардейцев, их встретили шквалтным огнём и они отошли для перегруппировки. Французская армия ждала Груши, но пришёл Блюхер. Начались брожения и крики о предательстве. Кто то принял перегруппировки Гвардии за отступление. В результате чего фронт просыпался.
