Couldn't you just use a filter edit on pc instead of mods that way Bandai can't strike you or anyone ?

Contrary to the popular belief of them banning all mods, I think they are really after mods that are their original designs such as the mod of Jun's TTT2 costume etc. Also mods of Jin's TTT1 outfit. Anything that would come as a free alternative to what they would like to provide in the future I'm assuming is what their biggest gripe is. Striking this video wouldn't make sense as they don't own the content of the mods shown. Now, if I uploaded a Devil Reina mod, they'll definitely strike the video, lol.

Cherry picked a bit. The customization in the base game gives you plenty to work with. Could it be better? forsure! Could Bamco also not take down modders? For sure, but comparing the two is antithetical

Your analysis contradicts itself if I'm being honest. The video is called "battle pass vs mods" It's not called "Tekken 8 customization vs mods." And tbh, it doesn't give you much to work with when you can't even separate the unique clothings as they are tied to the "entire body" category. Even T7 allowed this with its lackluster options. Secondly, comparing the two is certainly fair. You have one that charges you compared to another that has been created from someone not from the development team and isn't getting revenue from it.
