This specific game mode is why I want BW2 remakes so bad. But added with gen 6-whatever gen we're on at that points gym leaders and champions, including their games respective additions (so Cynthia has a mega, lyon has dynamax eta, i dont really think fans would care about the lore or reasons why dynamax could happen in unova becsuse they'd actually be making something amazing that we'd love). I just can't see BW2 remakes happening specifically because of this. This was the most innovative thing they've ever made and they're no longer that company. After this game they became greedy and corporate. If they remake BW2, they have to remake the PWT and modernise is which they don't want to do. If we get it it'll be watered down and just boring like the Sword and Shield DLC tournament. In hindsight, BW2 was the perfect game for gamefreak and pokemon as a whole to go out on. But they've turned it into something that doesn't even resemble this game anymore. BW2 remakes should spell the END of pokemon imo, but it'll never happen. It's like marvel, the MCU as we know it should've come to an end after that, but they're owned by Disney who have turned it into the same money making quick cash quantity over quality that pokemon now is. We used to get a game every 2 years with pokemon and they never missed (i know gen 5 did originally but i think fans now see it was amazing), now we get 2 a year and the only game which will stand the test of time since BW2 is legends arceus. 1 hit in 9 attempts in the last 8 years (gen 6, ORAS, S&M, S&M2, gen 8, BDSP, Legends and now gen 9) is pitiful for a company that got 7/7 in the first 15 years (gens 1-5 and the FRLG and HGSS remakes) before and just shows the quantity rise and quality drop off. The only other one I'd argue is ORAS but that is probably just because I'm biased as it was my first game after BW2. And I personally didn't mind gen 8 but it still wasn't anything compared to the old games of BW, BW2, DP and HGSS

After BDSP I almost don’t want them to remake Gen 5 and skip to a Gen that needs it. Namely Kalos. Dont get me wrong I love Gen 5 to bits and it does still have its flaws, but it’s where the series peaked to me and after seeing the lowest low that was Sw/Sh and BDSP, it gives me no hope for a good remake of Gen 5.
