Hey All! It annoyed me that Cloud's new weapon was really tied to this event making it very hard to have any kind of party variety that can score very well in this event. Without Cloud you could use white Dog / Stray Dog Vincent in Bailor King but not really for Jenova, since it favorable to use non-elemental. Hopefully you still learned a thing or 2 from my setups though Btw if you didn't know, you can get an ATB boost from the Guild Exchange Thanks for the support and for stopping by!

I "like" every video you actually talk in. With that said.. it's okay to voice over a recording as well. You recently put out a video with the bowowow.. whatever that means.. I'm older and the music was nonsense and takes away from the quality of the video. What you're thinking.. what you're doing and why you're doing it, etc.. always something to talk about. Keep the content coming brother man! 🤝

I appreciate you enjoy my rambles about the game haha but sometimes I also want to just make the content I want to make. Doing full voiceovers takes a lot more time and energy which im kind of limited to because life is kind of hectic and I dont want to spend all my free time doing content after my day job. So I figure sometimes just posting a quick battle showing my setup afterward is better than nothing and the bowowow song is from Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth so it fits the FF7 Theme haha. Thanks for the feedback though.

I work full-time to and take care of my father with MS, plus his property. I actually rely on these types of videos to save what little time I have to actually enjoy the game. 1st I discovered SmellyOctopuss and he's thorough as well and more to my playstyle. An to be completely honest.. I haven't purchased a ps5. At this point I'm hoping for a ps5 pro but I've been a Final Fantasy fan since literally FF1, 1987. Old man, original fan. Can't wait for Cid!!!🤣

@@Gordy-9 right there with ya, one of the first series I did on this channel well over a decade ago was an original FF7 playthrough. It's my favorite game and i've probably beaten from start to finish 40 times in my life along with getting the platinum and all steam achievements. FF7 means a lot to me haha

I'm sad that the sword is pretty much required to get a good score for this event. I'm waiting until all banners are out before I roll for anything. Great video as always though I've always use your guides to get top 100 in the past.

Yeah sorry there's not much of a way around this one. A stray dog Vincent might be able to get into the top 150 but since I don't have that build I can't really showcase that strat.

thanks a lot for guide, i never actually thought that I'd be able to beat lvl200 Bailor King. I tried with weak Vincent and Lucia earlier but couldn't survive. Used similar set up as yours with Aerith instead of Mat and won pretty comfortably.

Glad to hear! Yeah Poison is super helpful in that stage 200 fight to go along with Cloud's weapon, as long as you can stack HP and Defense it's not that difficult

Even the rewards difference between top 350 and top 600 aren't that big of a difference so not a big deal either way lol

You didn't show Matt's subweapons, what are they?

My bad, but two of them were just HP stat sticks (Powersoul and Kamura Wand) Along with OB1 Barret's Boxing glove guide weapon just for PDEF Up All Allies. The HP for survivability is all that matters really.

Did you hear about them recalling clouds bahamut sword. They are gonna refund the crystals consume and they are gonna take back the bahamut weapon. I don’t know the details exactly but that’s pretty much the gist of it, I think. 😢

That's only if you request to do so because of the glitch within the game where Gengji Blade and Cloud's Weapons swapping their descriptions. If you don't request to do so nothing happens and they gave us 3K crystals as an apology.

Oh yeah just stack magic defense / water resistance / HP like crazy and the sword along with poison should carry you
