I found out about this game because I heard there was a Gundam collaboration coming out so I had to learn how to play.. Didn't realize East was commentating lol thanks for making this more entertaining!!!

I just picked up three starter decks of this game, can’t wait to find other people who play this game, as well pick up some booster boxes of this game, I remember when the original card game released in Japan but was never able to acquire those, so having these are awesome and now allows me to play and experience this awesome game. This video was awesome to watch too, also kinda curious did the loser actually buy lunch for his opponent lmao 🤭🤔

This was such a fun video. Seeing the devs play and show off blinged out decks and Launch Event Soul Cores was awesome. Honestly, this was a way better showcase of how this game truly shines than any other influencer video. I hope we get to see more like this or maybe an interview with the devs

The difference between Battle spirits and One Piece is that one piece has a larger fan base. So naturally their launch is a huge hit regardless of game mechanics.

OPTCG is much more simple mechanically, BSS is more complex overall and that's part of its charm i suppose but also may be its downfall due to a bevy of poor translations that bandai is known for. scalper market isn't as bad as OPTCG for Boxes but starters are currently listing at $30/ea which isnt great for new blood looking to get into the game wanting to go headlong into it all

@anab0lic if youre in the uk for one piece sure the sealed market is much different you all have different distro. NA has a dumpster fire for distro, starters are always $30/per, boxes are $200/or more

Good teaching video. This is also why I enjoy Extreme Game because you can actually see how a game plays out rather than just looking at card effects. I do hope the ruling on Armor changes though, so it is closer to BS Armor. With the current interpretation it doesn't do enough to counter the other colors...

So there is no depleted condition in BSS? In Jp BS, if a spirit is out of core due to removal, it call depleted, so when destroyed effect don't trigger here

Please fix white mechs in set 2. I love the cards, but they are still missing stuff to be competitive. also, please, please, please give us Wodan, too. That is more so a personal thing, but I#d love to already see him in the English version as well.

Give it time, not every deck can be busted because you like them. That being said, expansion set is gonna change the metagame around a lot, so i wouldn't worry too much about it

@@digiguardunited im not op, but what dyna deck lacks is good early drop imho. Cool finisher, but you remove your soulcore and just risk getting absolute ice shielded without bring able to use cards like suppression.

I hope there won't be a meta just of 1 or 2 colors.... it would be boring, if everyone playes the best 2 decks because everyone wants to win prizes. This game will be succesfull if there is a lot of variation and game balance I guess.

1:09 at least immediately zoom in on the cards mentioned or show a bigger copy. Not good production values and then 1:16 they're blocked when it is zoomed. 2 mins shows but I dunno if everyone has that patience.

This is the worse display of yellow play when the developer miss play so badly for yellow. Should have move 1 extra core from the first nexus that is over supply of core and been on level 2 to the spirit pentan and this will force the opponent to pull it core also still not affect its level stats so much on the pentan and power enough to block the smaller spirits should they attack with it first. Than he should not flash and only enters block than only flash and use the core on the pentan to end the battle, this would have than force the opponent to have perform flash in advance to destroy his pentan and the first and second cathedral level 2 effect can still activate and have plus 2 draw that who knows may have change the game or even losing in ways that display the complex and technical part of the game this can offer. Just plain sad that the developer fail to even use yellow and it magic that shine during flash timing. This is a poor showcase of the game and further weak explanations on yellow deck does other than add core after spirit is destroy.

Counters does not set Battle Spirits from other TCG's... Magic has had counters in its game since its original sets in 1993! Also... if by redesigned you mean copy and paste of cards over a decade old to be resold as "new"... sure... let's call that a "redesign". Finally, GIVE DIGIMON/DRAGON BALL/ONE PIECE 1 MILLION DOLLAR PRIZE POOLS for their respective Worlds' circuits!

The way in which the counters are tied to the core mechanics as a resource system is unique and one thing that seperates itself from other tcgs. Clearly you don't have a good indrstanding of game mechanics.
