Hey Kozmic! I'm Luca, the yellow player who got to top 16! I think that in this meta Mock Genbu is a mandatory 4-of in the deck, mainly because of the matchup with red (by far the worst matchup for yellow). It's the only spirit that can live Ira AND Nova, with Godslaying it can destroy them in battle (and clash with Hydra), when it attacks directly with the help of old Genbu, Thorn Prison and Lightning Arrow is a real threat, and the effect that gives Blessed to your other spirits comes up a decent amount of times (i play the cost 2 spirit because of that, and to have a small spirit to sack for Hydra and only discard 2); the BP reducton effect, without playing Joker to repeat it, sadly is rarely relevant. As you said, the Cakes are in to have a secondary draw engine if you can't find the nexuses or if they are destroyed. At the tournament the card that underperformed the most was Beldegor (only decent against blue, and aggro i guess, that day i play against 3 Ira and 3 Hydra haha), so i think i will move them to the side. The deck now is super fun to play, much more than in set 3, feels consistent and strong (despite not having the explosiveness of blue and red) and i think it now has a higher skill ceiling than before! Thanks so much for the shoutout, and for the content that you bring! Bye!

Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts on it. I will make sure to try your version as well the next time I get around to playing yellow! I honestly forgot about new genbu surviving Genbu because I haven't had to play against a lot of Ira just yet, so big win there for sure

Hi Kozmic! I'm Lascia, the runner up. I thought that Mandala was really good with the impaler forest and it really payd off! Be able to take the Mandala that you discarded with strong draw / pollon was Huge. And you can actually mill another 6 and discard the tsatthoga. Thanks for the shotout and have a nice day ❤️

Yes its the same combo we saw going back to PT3 and the white mandala decks, but im still curious on how many games it actually won that wasn't against white or purple, or were you just trying to gain a little in those MUs? No doubt its a good addition, but more curious on what the ITA meta is looking like since we dont have many events to pull from

@@KozmicPlays since the deck is somewhat "midrange" with the impaler and deadly balance, Mandala was really good in mirror in the first game. Also against white control. The meta was pretty much red and blue

Say you’re in the middle of attacking and your opponent flashes godslaying. Does the godslaying effect start during the battle that is already in progress, or the NEXT battle? As always thanks so much 🤙🏼

The effect starts for the Battle in Progress.

@@t.g.9519 how does Snowflaken interact with curse?
@t.g.95196 ай бұрын
@@DBZSeanzie If Snowflaken is on Lvl 2 and blocks the Curse Spirit, you can return the Curse Spirit to the hand. Snowflaken is not destroyed and remains on the field. Important: You only return the Curse Spirit that attacks to the hand, because Curse only becomes active when the Spirit attacks.

@@t.g.9519 thank you so much! I’m relying heavily KZbin and test hands on devbot. Running White Control, and my friends play purple, green, and yellow. Preparing myself for possible disputed plays by being educated on the topic
