99% of people in this comments section hasn't watched the movie and it shows. In this movie, the russians and the americans are working together to defeat a rogue russian admiral that trying to stage a coup by killing the russian president. But the americans rescued the president and he's now inside the submarine, that's why the admiral tries to sink it. Of couse the russian destroyer couldn't let that happen and shot down all the missiles with their AA guns
