Battle! vs. Ghetsis (BD/SP model and animation mod showcase)

This time looks like the Team Plasma leader Ghetsis is back for more.
Will he be defeated again, or will he finally be victorious?
This video includes new animations for Pokémon made by me as well, can you notice which ones?
* This mod is currently NOT available for download, but might be added to our romhack Pokémon Luminescent at some point.
However, most of the custom animations are included on my latest "Sky-Battlen't" mod on GameBanana.

He has the patch on his eye, and the right side of his mouth is noticeably more stiff than the left. I love all the changes you've done, especially on Xatu, Typholsion, Steelix and Eelektross I love all these Pokémon but didn't use them in the latest generations mainly because of their model, you make me wanna use them with these animations! I actually also like that Dragonite, Ho-Oh and Salamance are standing instead of flying, especially Salamance The models also look height-accurate, not sure whether that's something you've added or whether they've looked this big before, I like it, though! I also love Ho-Oh's shiny details, it fits! The dynamic camera on Ghetsis looks really nice, too I honestly hope Nintendo adapts most of your changes in future titles, well done!

I don't know if I'm the only one, but I liked that the start shows Ghetchis's silhouette in white, while the background is black, I know this could only be a coincidence, but I imagine that was done for the game in the one that comes from (Black and White); and apart from that, he not only implemented the model of Ghetchis (which is from Pokémon Masters EX) or some animations of some Pokémon (like Typhlosion, which I admit, looks beautiful and fantastic), but also that he implemented 5th Generation Pokémon (remember that BDSP does not contain Pokémon beyond Diamond and Pearl), so, without prolonging this comment, I send my applause and praise to Yisuno for making a great and beautiful effort to do this :D

This. This is what i wanted pokemon BDSP to be like! So many fixed pokemon models, good animations, really good battle theme. Really shows that pokemon fans care more about the series than Gamefreak and Nintendo ever would. Thank you! Edit: I also wanted to point out that i love the attention to detail with the custom Ghetsis reaction when you pulled out Ho-oh. I suposse it would also work with any other legendary pokemon, but dang, this is such a neat little thing. I would also love it if some trainers had custom reaction if you use a shiny pokemon.

This is really, really cool. I love the Dragonite and Eelektross animations, and the way you animated Ho-oh really makes it live up to the title of legend. Only complaints I have are that Ho-oh looks a little too glossy, which makes it look kinda out of place, and how some of the idle animations where they just do a little roar are a bit bland (though animation is hard and there are a lot of pokémon so I get that). Still, those are just nitpicks and there is so much more about this that is done right, so keep up the good work 👍

I could be wrong and judge too soon.. but I don't think Scarlet and Violet will have a vibe with emotional immersion like those in their videos. The Background Scenery also looks more alive and well working. Besides the Pokemon that isn't even mentioned.. We've been waiting for years for the decency of them to fix flying Pokemon sprits and Pokemon size.. A pity that GF and PC don't give the real value and work deserved to future games as they should. Congratulations for the work with the videos and with the schedule of the battles.
