@BluPretzel The rockets I am not sure about, it may be possible for them to pick up secondaries, but it has been YEARS since I have played this. But Recyclers or as you said "Factory" DO in fact build Scouts.

as a girl i played this when I was 14 years old.. Looking at the immense changes in the gamin world.. this game really gave me the thrill! When I watched the intro again after so many years I had too laugh but felt happy again :D can somebody please tell me if its possible to Install this on a MAC? :)

My late grandfather gave me this game back when I was 5 years old and I grew up with it. It's hard to be unbiased about this, but I think it's a truly unique game that is heavily underrated.

I loved the both games, 1 and sequel. They should really do hardcore remake with graphics like it's in this intro. I think it would be just great no hi spec PC and also nextgen consoles!

@stib858 It still is a top game. One of the original programmers returned and built an impressive update with tons of fixes and Win7 support. The installer is downloadable from battlezone1. net . :)

I got a demo for this game as a kid, had the first mission and part of some others, and wrote a novel based on what I saw. Total copyright infringement Lol but it was awesome. Great game, excellent memories of ejecting from my vehicle and just exploring the moon and shit.

I was running this on a 400mhz Gateway PC on a 19"monitor, which was pretty epic back then. I remember getting this and Heavy Gear, holy crap these games were kings. You can just tell the developers really put effort into the user experience.

Best place to ask is battlezone1 . org forum We got our first pc and this game came with it, before that I had only played Atari ST games. My introduction to PC gaming was amazing, though a huge learning curve and all the years since have been devoid of anything superior.

If you're interesting in playing the original and TRO, you can find it at battlezone1 (dot) net. I agree that the difference between BZ1 and BZ2 is a bit too jarring. The modding community has certainly steam rolled over a good majority of those initial problems from BZ2's launch, so kudos to their efforts.
