Very interesting battle! I personally would have gave it to Majid at the end. I love it when dancers „talk“ to each other when dancing. Also what is up with that abrupt ending? Why are you cutting off the dancers giving respect to each other after the battle? That’s a sloppy decision.

Doyah's style is hella dope, it's really unpredictable and you can tell he's really comfortable. I love that he didn't let Majid get into his head and take him out of his zone. Majid is crazy good, making the final of BB two years in a row is NOT easy for sure. Edit: Majid did NOT get there two years in a row lol. It was the last 2/3 years.

Yeah Majid did good here but Doyah's style is just..I can't explain it but I haven't seen anything like it before, its like vogueish in a sense but with his own twist to it? He's one of my favorite dancers because he's just so unique with it. Look up DOYAH vs JĘDRAS if you haven't seen it yet. Doyah is just crazy. I honestly think people sleep on Luciano too, he's highly underrated and I don't see many people talking about him but in terms of clean technicality and isolations he's a beast. 💯🙌

This is an excellent battle to learn from, specifically with old generation vs new and old school vs new and how they work with the music and why. Doyah is a lot like Kid NY/Sniper (krumper) where he does a lot of beatkilling but can do so while still dancing. That said, I noticed he doesn't use much of the floor space, he tends to not leave his spot and that is something he can work on. It's not as bad as some dancers but if he is looking for something to improve on, I would recommend that. The other thing I will critique is his patience. It is fine with new school music that is fast and easy to play with (beatkill) but old school music is slower and simpler unless u get lucky and they play a Timbaland song. If you add the calmness / patience to it, then it just looks like you aren't doing much because less is happening in total. Majid is the complete opposite but it also ends up meaning he does better on old school music and underwhelming on new school cause he isn't doing the things Doyah does well and his freestyle is also extremely pure, nothing scripted, no combos, just dancing on beat with fundamentals and a bit of athleticism.

@@cv8891 I think Doyah took it cuz he was more musical and lyrical, he does the beat kill of the lyrics while still really feeling the music - while Majid feels the music really well he doesn't do as much beaitkill - also maybe Majid did not have enough variety in his last round

I hate it how a lot of people cry when a more famous dancer loses to a newer one. People saying here that majid got „robbed“ are just straight up dumb and don’t know anything about dancing. For me doyah won but I can see how people still feel like majid won. It could’ve gone either way and it’s always a bit subjective depending on what style you like more. But to say that anybody clearly won or got robbed here is a stupid statement. It was close from the first round on.

Doyah won for all those who lost to Majid in this event, Majid from the first battle was provoking his opponents, against le k got into his head and lost his battle because he couldn't concentrate (I'm not saying that he lost because of majid), and with other opponents Majid did things Similarly, Doyah was mentally strong in the final as she did not let Majid enter her mind and ended up winning the battle that she so deserved. I've watched this multiple times, but I still feel like Majid should've won. In that 3rd round, Majid won that round. No need for a tie-breaker, but Doyah took the last round definitely. I just feel like Majid's flow and groove were really great in 3rd round from start to finish whilst Doyah technically killed some beats and had few pauses/resets. Nevertheless, both of them are great without a doubt.

Best event this year for hiphop. Judges and the competitors were great. Doyahs gauntlet was wild. Yo took on pretty much most the heavy hitters imo. Junior, Evion, and Majid. Also Doyah vs Jimmy was at SDF was intense too. My manz Jimmy was in the zone though.

If we talk about Newstyle this Doyah guy was good on beatkill but not very impressive, the way he manage the space is not all that. The other guy was more entertaining. Dont understand why he won. Just came accross this video and i must say I saw better dance battle finals with Just Debout back in the days, but props to both dancers. But I do think this generation has better to offer no?
