I'm a lady "player" of warmachine not warhammer but I stopped playing years ago. I did play khador though which is pretty much big Russian battlebots and soldiers. I've moved on to other tabletop games. I much prefer watching you guys play than playing it myself.

I found the khymera models to be ridiculously expensive considering the amount I could field in the previous edition.. so I got vampire counts dire wolves for proxy. Razorwing flocks.. still undecided.

h1r086 think of it this way for razorwings: 8 attacks a base, 4 wounds each. Ignoring the fact that they have toughness and strength of 2, they will wound almost EVERYTHING on a 6, including space marines or actual titans. So a minimum size squad of three bases does 24 attacks, meaning you're definitely getting some wounds in, and multiple wounds means you lock big things in combat. Then remember you can take 12 bases in a unit. That's 96 attacks.

Lychguard are toughness 5 lewis, and if you use the shields they have a 4 + invul save these days. :)

The only thing changed regarding lychguard from index to codex other than points cost is the hyperphase sword that goes with the shield setup recieved +1 strength. :)

if you plan on the destroyers being a gun-line is best to just run them with a lord as its cheaper by a fair bit

I dont think the Destroyer lord is worth it having Anhilation protocols. Is like, the best 1 cp ever on a max destroyer unit. Even a regular overlord giving them Mi Will Be Done is probably better, and it can support other units if more advantageus later on.

2 squads of 3-4 destroyers with a heavy destroyer. have an overlord giving my will be done to both is better imo. having a regular lord giving the re-rolls of 1 for any dynasty infantry in 6. almost guaranteed to do plenty of damage, and you can keep the annihilation proticols in your back pocket for a heavy target.
