Passchendaele is such a gloomy and depressing map. The distance is blocked by gas and are forced to fight in the rotting husk of a village while chaos unfolds all around you. I feel like this audio encompasses everything about the map.

Yeah I’m still trying to play some apocalypse dlc too. The only server I was able to find was shock operations rotation and it included river somme and play it often other than that, I haven’t been able to find passchandale or caporetto or no other map on PlayStation.

This is an incredible edit, the use of the soundtrack, the speech and ambient sound effects from the game weave together perfectly. I'll be honest, it got me, I genuinely felt emotional when the whistles blew and you hear the troops start howling as they go over the top, just shutting your eyes and trying to imagine it the image is pretty haunting. But they obviously had it beyond worse, they had to live it.

Your audio mixing gets better each video and I'm starting to put them in my musical journey playlist since they fit alongside the (old) DICE sound quality with in game pre-battle speeches. Have you been ripping audio from the game files? The sound quality is really good, especially the ship bugle for the Pacific videos which I never found anywhere by itself. If so, reckon you could upload just that file too? Always wanted to have the sound fx in my library.

0:18 those last couple weak whistles I have to imagine are the officers exhaling into the whistle sporadically at the fact that they've just sent a group of young men to be mowed down and it's a horrific touch. Battlefield 1 was a passion project through and through.
