Yes, there was a suppresor in ww1, The "Maxim Suppresor", but it only fitted with the M1903(?) which was shown in the video. And yes, there was illuminated iron sights in ww1. It was introduced by germany, british and france in 1916.

The first silencer was patented in 1909. Silencers were a thing at this time.

Yes they were but not for any of the standard issue rifle calibers of the time. The Maxim Silencer was only for the .22 caliber and specifically for rifles as it tended to interfere with the action. Service-rifle caliber suppressors didn't come around until WW2. While I will agree that the .22 caliber round will kill, It would also cause them to shout very loudly not to mention that the suppressor doesnt take the sound down far enough to make the small hissing sound shown in video games. Having a .22 caliber suppressor doesnt help you any more than just having a rifle.

Just stating my opinion. It's DICE's game and they can do what they want, I'm simply questioning a small portion of half of the game. If you want me to really be a history buff then I would also question the many experimental weapons added into the game and the rates of fire of many of the automatic weapons, but I understand that Battlefield is a AAA title and I knew from the start that it wouldn't be completely accurate to the war. People play Battlefield 1 because it offers an enjoyable "boots on the ground" experience. I would rather play games like Verdun because I enjoy realism and historical accuracy.

Tried to stealth but then instead got to a point where I just started shooting the shit out of everyone, destroying tanks, throwing rockets and it literally took me an hour to finish this mission. Watching you just made me realise how shit of a gamer I am, literally you just knocked on their front door, killed them and completed the objective

DICE really didn't want to be imaginative with this. We are in a different setting and a different time period but still you get a scope and a silencer - why not use a bayonet, or some bedouin trickery with decoys? Hate to draw this comparison but the oldie CoD5 had us wait for a bomber to fly overhead so that it would drown out the loud-ass gunshot.

The moon. There's no way it would be in that position in the sky. look at the 5:31 mark. The sun rises in the east, so it's obviously rising. Full moons rise at 6PM and set at 6AM in an east to west pattern as well, following the sun, right? That moon shouldn't be there... It should be far to the players left at the 5:31 mark, setting opposite of the sun (it's why its bright and full). So again, what world is this where the moon is setting to the north?

Ottoman Empire would win WWI If they had armored vehicles and suplies and everything. I am Turkish myself and pretty good at history too and what we learned is that Ottoman Empire was called as ''sick man'' that is about to collapse. Soldiers didn't even have socks to wear let alone having armored vehicles and guns. In Çanakkale War, soldiers had to fight with their bayonettes to hold the enemy soldiers. I love BF1 but why make a campaign for America who joined war in 1917 and not a campaign for one of the biggest empire of all times getting decimated? Poor propaganda as always. I think buyer population counts more than history.
