Hi Neebs! French-american fan here, for bayonet we say baïonnette, pronounced (bah-yo-net), and it's where the word in english comes from! It came about in the french countrysides in the 17th century when the locals of Bayonne ran out of ammunition and gunpowder, so they fixed knives to their weapons to use them as spears, and the tactic stuck! Love the great work man, can't wait for world peace ❤️

Mmm. My most epic bayonet moment was when in a building we were having a firefight with the enemy till one threw a gas grenade. The awesome feeling of charging through gas with a bayonet while seeing gun fire going everywhere was amazing.
