Infantry is a lot better with the “straight pull” fire rate. Just stay ADS and you can fire two shots to kill before they react. I honestly prefer the Vetterli infantry. The sweet spot is like point blank almost.

Not much of a scout player but had the itch to try after seeing some of your recent sniper videos. Feels like high magnification scopes are hard to use and playing with 3x to 5x felt better on most, or iron sight versions. Also I think spot flares are the most OP spotting items ever in BF lol.

It was so OP that when they created the specializations they had to add one to somewhat counter the flare is you were moving slowly or stationary. Then the BFV flare came out & everyone was confused as to how it worked 😅😅😅

4x is enough to do anything, 6x is the max I would ever realistically go. Anything past that and theres no way you are actually playing the objective

Also yeah the spotting flares are an absolutely must for playing scout. They should have made it so you can stomp out enemy flares to destroy them, it would be pretty balanced then imo

​@markpalmercomedy Anything is usable on hard-core. I used the experimental sniper, and it was so good I understand why it's weak normally. Normally it shoots weak pistol rounds on the first mode but it becomes a FnFal with good spam hip fire with that large ammo box with good usability on even medium ranges. As for sniper mode it's an instant because it's hard-core. Normally getting a kill is a struggle because of the janky iron sights and me probably not good enough to hit head shots. After every shot you must stop aiming and let go of the gun to bring the bolt back. I get killed so many times because of those issues and not being able to finish the enemy without switching to my secondary. I'm on console btw

Those "weak pistol rounds" are actually a 3 shot kill at close ranges, everyone just assumes that the experimental mode is meant to also be long range when that is not the case. If you can get used to swapping modes, this makes the m1903 experimental an extremely strong contender for best all around sniper rifle.

The non patrol carbine version is definitely better, but neither of them is good imo lol, the gewehr m95 just kinda outclasses it

@Mr.Zilreth I wouldn't say outclass, I can understand this gun not being someone's cup of tea compared to the m95 and it's ability to stay aimed when rechambering, along with its much superior effectiveness over range, but the carcano is so so good if you can land your shots and I'd say much more fun to quickly aim in and out snapping to every enemy you see in order to make use of that faster rate of fire. To each their own of course, but I'd love to see you give the infantry a go on a much tighter map.

You cant use the advertised rpm if you scope in and out between shots though, thats what makes this variant in particular so weird lol. I'll def use the other variant in the future

Infantry makes some sense because you can actually use the rate of fire, the scoped version just makes no sense because you have to unscope between every shot so the M95 or Ross are just better in every way

Chest much. Unless ur using a Cronus, I don’t think that semi auto handgun is supposed to fire a shot every .0001 sec💯. Awful fast trigger pull rate😳- too fast, in fact🙄💯 #ModUrWin #Cronus
